Our Privacy Policy follows the GDPR rules that came into effect on 25 May 2018.
At Tablet Rentals we continually review our business operations to ensure we reach the GDPR standards that is both legally required as well as morally required internally by our team.
In short, for Tablet Rentals this means maintaining the confidence, trust and knowledge of any visitors to our website: www.tablet-rentals.co.uk as well as our customers having full confidence on how we treat all data extremely seriously with strict policies in place.
Our Promise:
We would like to highlight and reinforce the fact that Tablet Rentals is not in the business of selling, renting or trading any email lists or any your data for any marketing or any other purposes. We simply never have and simply never will. Tablet Rentals is not part of any corporate group so any data we handle is solely for Tablet Rentals Limited internal use only.
However, in this Privacy policy we will provide detailed information of why we collect your data, what we do with it and how we secure your data.
Collecting and our use of your Personal Data:
First and fore most you can browse and explore our website without any need to provide any personal data. We do analyse our web traffic, but this is more for information on the type of device used to browse our site or which particular search engine has been used to browse the site. We certainly do not analyse or capture IP addresses of our site visitors and nor will we ever do this.
Moreover, we do not request subscription to any newsletter, nor do we run any competitions. In fact, the only time we collect personal data is when you would like to make an enquiry into one of our products or one of our services.
By personal data we mean any data that we may use or store. Typically, this is collected from you in the form of an enquiry into a product or service that you are potentially interested in from Tablet Rentals.
Initially, we will request your name, phone number and an email address so that we can respond to your enquiry and to be able to send you a quote. We will rarely call you, unless there is a request to do so or should a particularly technical challenge / product / service be requested in which we may need to discuss the project with you before we send any costs or information.
Should your enquiry result in an order then we will request an address for delivery and collection. You may have provided a post code for delivery (but this is just so we know what part of the UK or Europe you are hosting the event in so we can provide an accurate quote).
So just so we are clear, Tablet Rentals will only use your personal data to tell you about any of our equipment / services you’ve enquired about or to contact you should we need to obtain or provide additional information in order to respond to your enquiry.
As previously mentioned, Tablet Rentals does not run any competitions or weekly mailshots. In fact, the only time you are likely to hear from us is if we have moved office to provide our new contact details (we have had 3 office moves in the last 8 years due to growth), to check whether there are any forthcoming events in which assistance is required or because of a re-launch / update of our website. However, we also inform recipients that we would send a separate GDPR opt in or unsubscribe email with this.
We have worked with the majority of our clients for several years (some as long as 14 years). Occasionally, the personnel / internal departments or the main contact person at that company has changed, so we offer individuals the option to forward our contact details to the correct person responsible for dealing with Tablet Rentals, who in turn had the option to opt in or unsubscribe or the initial person can opt out immediately.
Use of personal data – Tablet Rentals Software / Apps:
One of the core parts of our business is to provide a range of software or apps as part of a wider package of services for a client.
Typically, this is in the form of a data capture form or to load a guest list onto a device for a client.
We can guarantee you that in any of these circumstances, Tablet Rentals ensure and request confirmation that any data we pass back to our client is handled by them in compliance with GDPR (25 May 2018).
Moreover, we will delete any personal information / client data passed to us from a client once we have completed the requested works from our client.
Use of Cookies:

Please note, you can unsubscribe to general mailings / new office contact details or website re-launch mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link or by emailing UNSUBSCRIBE to info@tablet-rentals.co.uk
By using our order form / request a quote / make an enquiry form, you consent to the collection and use of the information you provide to us as outlined in this Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time and without notice, so make sure you check back occasionally.
