Tablet Rentals welcomes the MacBook Pro 16’ (i7) which is a big step up in our opinion on the MacBook Pro 15’.
The MacBook Pro 15’ definitely had a shelf life and it’s great that Apple has introduced a sleek, more modern and better performing MacBook in the form of this MacBook Pro 16’ (i7).
This is due to the fact that Apple has introduced the most powerful MacBook Apple’s ever made, so great for our Creative customers as well as our array of Exhibition and Conference clients.
At first glance, the 16-inch MacBook Pro doesn’t look particularly different from MacBook Pro 15’ model. However, the MacBook Pro 16’ is much more modern and Apple has managed to fit a larger screen into the new MacBook Pro 16’ without drastically increasing the overall size of the laptop.
The screen is fabulous and certainly eye-catching. This is probably because the new MacBook Pro 16’ has the largest display on a MacBook since the MacBook Pro 17-inch was discontinued way back in 2012 (when Tablet Rentals were operating in its early years). Much has changed since then!!
Apple’s move to a MacBook Pro 16’ hasn’t resulted in a compromise in image quality, which is high with the resolution up to 3,072 x 1,920 and a pixel density of 226 pixels per inch. The resolution is much sharper than the MacBook Pro 15’, which only had a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, so an increased pixel density will be a welcome boost to our Creative professional customers.
One small gripe is that Apple has seen fit to only include four Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports and an audio jack. This maybe fine for regular users, but at Tablet Rentals the feedback from our creative clients is that the more ports the better!!
On the plus side, there is a significantly improved keyboard and the MacBook Pro 16’ delivers a really great performance, with fantastic in-built speakers which are top-notch as there are 6 speakers in the MacBook Pro 16’, with Force Feedback-enabled woofers – perfect for music-lovers and exhibitors at large events!
