iPad Mini (8.3’)

Apple made their iPad Mini less of a mini and more of a tablet in 2021 when it released the iPad 8.3’ iPad Mini 6^th Gen and at the end of last year (2024), Apple released iPad Mini 7 – again an iPad 8.3 sized device.

Is there much of a difference with iPad Mini 7..? No there’s not. The iPad Mini 7 has an A17 Pro chip (for Apple Intelligence); it supports the Pencil Pro; it has minimum storage size of 128GB and comes in various colours, but everything else is pretty much the same as the iPad Mini 7.

Certainly for our Tablet Rentals team we note that the screen is really nice, the iPad has been built really well and it’s compatible with the Apple Pencil….but then again we said exactly the same about the iPad Mini 6.
