We’ll be honest and say the iPad 10^th Gen initially was not our favourite device as it seemed a drastic step away from the fantastic iPad 9^th Gen (10.2’) which for our Team at Tablet Rentals is still a faultless device.

Yet we have changed our mind on the iPad 10^th Gen and believe Apple’s standard iPad is actually a fantastic tablet to hire. The 10^th Gen iPad is bigger (10.9’) than the iPad 9^th Gen with an A14 Bionic chip. Moving the 10^th Gen iPad to 10.9’ device, which is the same size as the iPad Air 4th Gen and iPad Air 5th Gen initially confused us. However, it’s clear Apple wants a larger standard iPad and a move towards an iPad 10.9 and an iPad 11’ is the way forward.

The iPad 10^th Gen also moves away from being a lightning device as the charging cables for the iPad 10^th Gen are now all USB-C, which is a positive move. Moreover, the iPad 10^th Gen offers 5G connectivity and our team personally love the blue version of the iPad 10^th Gen.
