When Apple introduced iMac 24’ (M1) back in 2021 it also introduced their own processer via the M1 Chip, which has shown to be extremely powerful.
The team at Tablet Rentals expected (as you would) for the sequel iMac to be an M2 Chip, but not so. Apple has bided its time and so the new iMac 24’ has a M3 Chip, which brings the iMac to new heights of capability that our users and creatives will love.
As expected, the new iMac 24’ is pretty much the same as the iMac 24’ M1 chip. This s no real surprise as the recently released 24’ size is Apple’s move to a single iMac size as the iMac 21.5’ and the iMac 27’ versions will be discontinued.
This makes sense to our Tablet Rentals team as the 24’ iMac has a fantastic design, a morden look and feel and it’s also much slimmer and lighter than previous 27’ versions.
The iMac 24’s version comes with a 4.5K Retina display with 4,480-by-2,520-pixel resolution and the screen supports Apple’s True Tone technology that optimizes the colour temperature for ambient light.
One particular feature to note is the superb webcam on the new iMac. With so much corporate travel discarded and with the huge step-up in online meetings and conferences, having and excellent webcam is key.
